What constitutes a Utility Audit?
Utility Rates Analysts conducts a thorough analysis of your utility bills to determine if all areas of cost and charges are correct. This is completed in conjunction with a review of the tariffs that regulate the charges of the particular utilities serving your area. We confirm that you are receiving the services you are paying for and determine if there are ways to reduce your utility costs.
How involved do we (the company) have to be?
URA does all the footwork necessary, which includes copying the invoices that we need. We also initiate all contact with the utility companies. This is done with very little inconvenience to your company, as we act on your behalf to correct billing mistakes and recover overcharges.
How long does this process take?
We strive to have the audit completed in two(2) to three(3) months. Of course, multiple locations and complex situations may prolong the audit.
Are there any up-front costs?
There are no up-front fees, charges, or retainers. We will, however, work on an hourly basis in the event you are hiring us to do a specific task.
